I have a car loan at Houston police credit union I have not paid for over a year what legally can be done.?
A company named Advantage said it will turn over to the Harris County District Attorney office. What legal recourse could happen to me if I do not turn in the automobile in my possession.
They can/will reposes the car, then sue you for the cost of the car and the reposession. But they cannot insure that the county aty will go after you, they can only make a reccomendation of action. But more likely they will go after you. If you dont’ cooperate they will kick your butt finacially-Just cooperate and give them the car. It will be cheaper in the end and they may even give you a chance to get out of the contract.

I want to go to College of Mount St. Joseph in Ohio, Indiana University or Purdue University. I want to know what I should major in for these places to get into law school. I have researched and found it isn’t good to major in pre-law. Is this true? Do colleges not like that? Should I major in philosophy and minor in business? What classes should I take? Should I double major? Please give examples of what I should do for each place. Oh and I want to be a criminal law attorney, family law attorney, or medical malpractice attorney.
People most commonly major in political science and/or pre-law.
However, you should probably major in philosophy if your primary goal is to do well on the LSAT.
A philosophy major is helpful but not necessary for LSAT prep. Reading dense material, reading and making logical arguments, dissecting logical arguments, getting a foundation in formal logic, etc.
Philosophy majors tend to do much better than the average test taker (and much better than Political Science and Pre-Law majors):
However, as you will learn from your LSAT prep, correlation does not guarantee causation. Perhaps the type of people who tend to major in philosophy already have the skills/ability to do well.
As I said, majoring (or taking classes) in philosophy does help, probably more so than majoring in something like Political Science. Pick whichever you like more, though. You can prepare to get a super-high score no matter what your major or classes (even underwater basket-weaving, although even a 4.0 GPA in that course of study would not impress adcomms).
You can major in anything for purposes of admission, but, like I said, philosophy may prepare you better than political science and most other subjects.
