Utah’s screwy law and my desire for a girl?
OK, so I work with a girl that is 17, and I’m 26. Utah has passed legislature stating that a 16-17yr old can be with anyone within 10 years older.
I researched it, and it’s completely true, it’s legal and parents can not do anything about it, however I’m having some moral issues with the age gap. My ex was 38yrs old and severely lacked the spontenaity and passion… it was sex and just hanging out… I hated it! I did have a short relationship with a girl that was 15 before her, and it was the best relationship I’ve ever had.
I don’t want to be a pervert, I just want to have a fun and lively relationship with someone I can really love emotionally for who they are, grow, and watch them grow throughout life.
Females my age, especially living in Utah, have strict constraints on who they’ll be with. I’m not LDS, I’m not into family, and I’m not looking to get married and have kids right now. I’m totally ditched by my age range, so is it bad to start dating a 17yr old?
I hear you, do you hear you? Do Utah girls somehow change into females your age with strict constraints? Is she from Utah? Are you?
One of the wildest and coolest women I’ve met was born and raised there.
I was in your position about the same age (29) and met a Belgian Babe 10 yrs younger than me. I can only say it was worth it, but the part that didn’t work was I had already been through the power struggles and crap you go through in a first marriage and she had not, so I had to try to fake my way through it again. It didn’t work for me, but you are not me so follow either your mind, heart, or genitalia. Good luck.
