JWs: when you divorce your apostate mate who has “left the Truth,” do you go for the jugular in divorce cour?
to deny your “worldly” ex-spouse access to the children after the divorce?
true story: my brother-in-law hid his son from his ex-jw wife claiming he did so so she would not corrupt the kid. Just wonder if you divorced JWs are fair to your disfellowshipped ex-spouses.
I likened his denying access to the mother to killing the kid’s mother while she was living and breathing…

Never had to experience this….however,
My JW parents plotted to get custody of my then 4 year old daughter because I left “the truth”. They’ve even sent letters to her (at her school) telling her that if she doesn’t get right with Jehovah, that she will die in Armeggedon with her mother (me). I found documents and lists of attorneys…trying to prove I was unfit…which I was NOT so…each and every attorney’s name was crossed out on the list …no one would take their case.
….and JWs DO actively promote kidnapping kids. I remember (while growing up) when JWs in the KH had custody issues with ‘worldy’ ex-spouses…it was not uncommon to hear them say to take the child to Canada. I have over heard my OWN mother say this to her ‘friends’. True story!
